This session was a TRIP!

Quite literally…..for me anyhow, lol.

We cross the street in downtown Watkinsville, GA….mom is trying to get little girl to stand next to the building…I turn around, while fiddling with my band-aid that is on my itty bitty paper cut (but also my shutter finger), and suddenly find myself SPRAWLED out on the ground….in my head I am swearing 100 different combinations of obscenities….because surely….this cannot be the best way to start off a session with a new client.

I get up, dust myself off, and realize I am bleeding from both elbows…and I just KNOW blood has got to be pouring out of my knee cap. Really though, I am just thankful that I had enough sense to hold my camera UP, which is why my elbows took the brunt of the fall. I mean…..looking back, how can you not LAUGH…the thought of my big behind sprawled out on the concrete….really….HILARIOUS! And…my wounds look no worse than the scrapes I used to get playing softball;)

So, mom is making sure I am ok, and saying “But you’re BLEEDING” LOL! I assured her I would not get it on little LK’s dress and we continued on with starting the session.

Polly, thank you SO MUCH for the Jittery Joe’s….and for not freaking out as I so gracefully landed on the sidewalk….and here is the result of our VERY eventful morning, lol!

Frankie–
I LOVE them! They’re absolutely wonderful-as is all your work. We really appreciate your time, patience, and expertise. Feel free to tell everyone that you’re so devoted to your craft that you’d bleed for pictures.
Thanks again so much,
Polly

You poor thing — OUCH! You are a trooper for not swearing and continuing on with the session.

The fence image is absolutely delightful!!! Beautiful work.

These are awesome. Polly (and LK) will treasure these forever. Wish we had a photographer doing things like this up here in my area of KY. Maybe I’ll just make a trip to Watkinsville…

Beautiful photos! I love the one of her looking through the fence – it exemplifies the family she was born into and would make her granddaddy proud. :-)
