Less chub, more hair!

You might remember this boy as my sock monkey kid last year. He’s back! He’s got a bit more hair and a little less chunk, but his face is still pretty similar to what it was then. I loved this whole session, but my throat hurt at the end of it because of him. Mom said “Oh, and he thinks it’s hilarious when you roar at him like a dinosaur.” So, I spent the whole session going “Hey, guess what? RAWR!!!!” at him.

T’s return

Ah, how I love seeing babies grow! This is baby T’s third visit to us! Check out his heads up session and his newborn session! He’s still got all that red hair and those lips!

Eyes of denim

Oh, this girl hopped out of the car for our session and my heart just stopped. She’s SO gorgeous and she doesn’t even know it! I totally fell in love with this angel. She’s SO fun and SO sweet and I just couldn’t get enough of her! I had such a hard time narrowing them down because she’s just so darn pretty! At the end of the session, I had her sitting in the creek and spinning the water out of the skirt in the sunset. Oh, it was lovely!

Sweet sweet boy

This pair sure made me a wonderful evening! Little brother gave me a run for my money for sure. It was on’t 45 minutes in when mommy and I finally figured out that he just HATES the grass! Big sister is SO patient and so gorgeous. I can’t wait to see them again!

So different!

These two this evening were so so different from each other! They are five years apart in age, which is usually a recipe for disaster, but thanks goodness for a patient big brother! This session was done at the UGA Founder’s Garden over on Lumpkin, but we also took a hike around north campus. I asked sister to sit next to brother and she was wanting to do other things, so I asked her to lick him. Thinking he’d just get up and run off and the best I’d get was a few giggles from her, I was ready. Instead, he totally sat there and let her go whole hog! Seriously cracked me UP.

Peace, love, joy…..

CHAOS!

Dude, seriously….such is life with an 18 monther. They are independent, they are strong-willed, they are explorers….THEY ARE FAST! Good gracious. I burned enough calories during this session that I harbored ZERO guilt going home to claim my 12oz. reward!

However….the thing about chaos is you must embrace it! You can’t try to get a handle on it, no, that does nothing but create frustration, you just let it run its course. And so, we did! The end result…totally worth it!

Yea, you can see mischief written all over his face!

The Fantastic Three

Yeah, let me tell you how much I love these kids. I rented a fisheye lens for another shoot this week and decided to use it today for a test drive. I said “Okay, lean in really close and yell at me!” Yeah, two out of three’s not bad.:P
