SERIOUSLY!!! Someone please explain to me what was going on in Athens about ohhhh, 8.5 months ago! We have had a belly explosion here lately, which of course means a baby explosion is on the way!Had a great time with both of these ladies. There are photos from the 2nd one that I am having to use GREAT RESTRAINT in NOT posting. Seriously…..I upload and delete several times throughout the day, hahahhaha. I loved doing the profile shot of the first mom! Aside from her gorgeous belly, you would NOT know she was preggo!
Another mom and dad getting ready for the battle of TWO! And yeah, ya know, that is all well and good….but what is UP with these women and their PERFECT freakin’ bellies. Seriously!? You know, they like to call stretch marks “war wounds”……well, let me tell you…as a mother…as a woman….I did NOT ask to fight that hard. If judging my battle by my stretch marks, it looks like my belly fought through both World Wars
Ahhh, but…this isn’t about me and my bitter(sweet)ness over my skin looking like it has been clawed at by a wild animal…no no….this is about our lovely mom to be! Our mom to be who only has THREE WEEKS until delivery. Are you KIDDING me. This beautiful, perfectly round, smooth ball of baby will be delivered in THREE WEEKS!!!I have no doubt that this baby will have one of the best big sisters in the whole world either. Big sister is a HUGE job, one that I am sure Miss R will take on like a champ. A little mommy is what she’ll be!

I am in love, awe and TOTAL envy of this perfect belly. Not ONE stretch mark, not ONE bluey veiny spot, not ONE imperfection. NEVER has this happened to ME. Lord knows my belly NEVER looked that good.
I haven’t gotten to spend a lot of time taking photos of baby bellies, so I put out a few calls to some friends to see if they would mind “modeling” for me. This beautiful mom was gracious enough to lend me her body for an hour. I am SO VERY appreciative of that!
Also, if YOU know of any moms to be that are looking to show off their pregnant bellies, let us know! We are looking for a few more models for some other shots we want to try!
From my second maternity session on Sunday. 4 weeks until she’s due!
On Sunday, I had the pleasure of doing two maternity sessions in a row. This is the first. She has this wonderful belly dancer’s outfit we just HAD to use. Her husband was the most enthusiastic dad-to-be I’ve ever met. He was disappointed when we finally were done with him in the pictures!
