Catch of the day!

I usually tell parents for newborn sessions “If you have anything in the house that’s personal that you think the baby will fit into or on top of, bring it and we’ll do our best to use it.” Usually the parents bring a blanket or a hat. Sometimes, I get someone bringing a really awesome bowl or something pretty neat. Very rarely though, do I get something as cool at the ‘catch of the day’. Daddy showed up with this whole idea in his head, so I can’t take any credit except for how to make it happen. Plus, isn’t that baby GORGEOUS? I’ll bet she’s the prettiest fish he’s ever caught!

I Tinkerbell!

“I Tinkerbell! I Tinkerbell!” That’s what I heard over and over last night for the fairytale session for this little sweetie. She popped out of the car and she says “I Tinkerbell!”, got the dress on and threw her arms up and cheered “I Tinkerbell!”, walked a few steps and I hear from behind me… “I Tinkerbell!”. She has the sweetest most perky little voice too, it’s adorable.

I was like baby, baby, baby….

Ooohhhhhhhhhhhhhh! I bet mama gets this all the time….”Ohhhhhhhh are these all yours!?” Secretly I hope she replies with “No, actually, I don’t know who these children to belong to nor why they are calling me mom!?”

I can think of few women who possess the strength, patience and pure desire to parent more children than they have arms, but these parents do! One might think the studio was complete and total chaos this morning, but actually, it was quite the opposite! We had fun, we played, we laughed, and the 6 big siblings were a dream! Laid back and casual, just the way we like it here:)

Peach Orchard Princesses and Fairies!

A HUGE thanks to Thomas Orchards for letting us borrow their peach trees to shoot in for these! Everyone should really go down to the gift shop and get yourself some peaches and some peach ice cream. I’ve heard people come from states away to get that ice cream, so you’d better go see them since we’re so darn close! Thanks to everyone who signed up, it was a huge success and I really enjoyed meeting all of your girls!

Hear ye, hear ye! Your majesty’s presence is requested at our elegant fairytale mini sessions at Thomas Orchards.
We have the most gorgeous princess clothing for your little  princess or fairy in size ranges from 2T to 9.

These mini sessions are $50 for one princess or fairy, $25 for each additional royal sibling. Your session fee includes a 30 minute photo session and one digital picture with reprint rights. You will be shown 10-15 images to order from. Email heather@stylizedportraiture.com or call 706.247.5086 to book your session!

3/18 – 3/23 or as long as the blossoms last. All sessions are 5:30pm & 6:15pm

You’re never fully dressed without a smile…

Words to live by, I tell ya!

This lovely red headed beauty was as fiery as her hair color. But anyone who knows me, knows I love a good challenge. She and I were fast friends, and by the end of the shoot I think she was a little reluctant to go home:)

I had a fabulous time making the most of her 5 year old session! Her smile melts my heart!

New little miss

Yesterday’s little girl gave me a run for my money. She did not like having her feet messed with or her arms up, so every pose was a fight with her. Goodness, she’s sure pretty though. I mean, look at that sweet face and perfect lips! Mommy brought all kinds of awesome hats with her!
