Hello, tiny

This sweetie was the answer to my model call for an outdoor newborn, and I’m so glad she was because her parents are SUPER nice! We met up at one of my new favorite spots for a session, Ashford Manor! If you’ve never been there, you HAVE to see it. The grounds are flat out stunning and the guys that run it are amazingly nice too. Anyway, This little tiny girl arrived sleepy but woke up while we were getting set up. Thank goodness mom and dad are good with bodily fluids, because she got them both with just about everything. We were patient though and finally she was out for good. I was able to get everything I wanted and a few bonus shots!

Hello, wide awake!

This sweetie slept for TEN whole minutes out of this afternoon’s three hour newborn session. She was nursed, shushed, swung, swayed, swaddled, held, cuddled, patted… you name it… She wasn’t having any of it. Thank goodness mom was casual and open to that being how it was.

T’was late December the news came….

And, here you are now! Oh, the story behind finding out this little guy was coming into the world! SO FUNNY! But, I’ll let mom tell you that one;)

I was so excited to see the little brother of one of our precious baby boys from last November. Isn’t he just precious!!??

8 days new

This little sweetie came into the studio yesterday! I sure got my dose of new baby love because my arms are sore today from all the holding and bouncing! I’m in total love with big sisters eyes too, all green and blue, wow! Big brother was confused as to why he was there, but talking about how stinky new sister is made him smile a little.

Welcome baby boy!

When I walked in to this session today, there was no mistaking this boy for anyone else’s child. He looked JUST like his big sister when she was born. He looks sliiightly less girly, but the same face, same chin, same hair. Oh, it was déjà vu. Big sis just keeps getting cuter and cuter, and was sure hamming it for me today. I even got two hugs from her super-shy self. I also couldn’t not include thier other fur-kids. I got 7/10!:PCheck out their maternity session! You can see big sister’s other sessions also: newborn and 10 months!

Jaaaaaaaanie. Janie, baby!

Oh good grief! Just look at this precious bundle of joy! Heather usually shoots newborns, and occasionally we will tag team a few. This is the first one I’ve done by myself in a LONG time! It was a ton of fun to hang out with Miss Janie and her people. She has a proud big brother who was off the Atlanta Aquarium the day we took these. So fitting seeing as how he is Jonah;)These were all done in the natural light portion of our studio!

Little bundle

This sweetie is on our Belly to Baby and Tales From the Crib plans so we will get to see her a lot more through the year. This session was so wonderful, one of those rare newborn sessions that the baby neither wakes up or wets on anything. I think I get a no-wet/no-wake baby maybe once a year, if I’m lucky.:PThis session was done in our studio!

Two brothers

This amazing family has gone through so much.  Two years after losing their first son, they brought home a second baby boy. Big sister Maddie Grace has two brothers now, and she’s one of the most patient sisters we’ve seen! It’ll be wonderful to watch baby Sam grow over the next year! I’m really interested to see if he keeps his baby bird hair, all sticking up everywhere. Here is the newspaper article written about them over the weekend.
