Seriously. That’s what these boys told me. Be still my heart. BEST. ANSWER. EVER. And, with a mama like that, who wouldn’t want her to be their girlfriend!? Right, Dad?![]()

upon which we build so many things. Photographing tight-knit families such as this one always make me a little homesick. I am the only one of my family that doesn’t live in Tallahassee, Fl. This family has been here their entire lives. They all still live here. Mimi and Pops will get to watch their grandchildren grow up here. Sisters and brothers get to arrange dinners and birthdays and get-togethers just because! The amount of love that these guys have for each other is incredible. Not to mention the fabulous fun they have too! It was such an awesome evening hanging out at the UGA State Botanical Gardens! We ran into a TON of other photographers, but I’m nearly certain no one laughed as much as we did! Thanks guys for making my job so easy!

I can only pray that Greg and I still look at each other like this when we get to sit back and look at our children and their families….

Ok, not all of us. Just me. Thankfully at the END of the session.
Man, we were 30 minutes in to a FANTASTIC family session, so fantastic, that we were done with the kids, one last wide angle shot, and then we were gonna photograph just mom and dad together. This would have been a first, because usually by the time we are done with this crew mom and dad are WAY too spent for photos of the two of them LOL!
Anyhow, I stepped down off the sidewalk (a good 3 foot drop) for the 4th time during the session and hit a nice soggy wet patch of grass/dirt and turned my ankle. It was awesome. Really awesome. Only not![]()
Look, I’ve just made this post about me. Not their photos. But, oh well….I’m pretty much a part of their family, so, by default, this post is at least about their family![]()

Ok, so I admit…way down deep somewhere I have a 9 year old boy sense of humor. Ridiculous, I know…but I just can’t help it. Everyone can appreciate a little bathroom humor now and then right!? Hope the jokes don’t continue on and ruin your Zaxby’s dad! I loved having you all in the studio, it’s always nice to cut loose and be a kid again!

And yes, it never fails…we ALWAYS get the “I’m DONE!” look![]()

And belly jealousy! Good grief, how many pregnant women do you know (or have known) that you could still see their rock hard awesome abs (and, if we’re being honest, how many non-pregnant women do we know with rock hard abs?)!? Krimson was GORGEOUS in the studio. And to think, she doesn’t like photos of herself. Well, like I tell all my hot ’bout to pop mamas….these photos aren’t of YOU, they are of the babe…and in their case “the pickle”![]()
I can’t wait for the newborn session! This is one Heather and I will for sure work together on. They have already said they are up for anything, and I will be sure to do everything I can![]()

and I am going to pretend that she is NOT wearing pre-pregnancy jeans that she can still button. Yea, totally not….
This wonderful pair have been married for four years now! Each year, they go out on the town for an anniversary session. This time, we did a lifestyle session at Memorial Park and Bear Hollow. See more: Year 3, Year 2 and Year 1. This year we….

… laid around on the job,

… blew funky bubbles,

… played around on the playground,

… told stories,

… fed the geese,

… watched the bears,

… checked out the alligators,

… had fun on the swings,

… had a giggle,

and watched the turtles.
Since this was a Day in the Life type session, I decided to string the photos into a stop-motion video.
And it was PERFECT! Beautiful weather (despite the bit of rain at the reception), BEAUTIFUL ceremony, wonderful couple, fabulous parents. Great great great! I hope Kelly and Jason are enjoying their well deserved time alone![]()
The First Baptist Church in Gainesville, GA was A-MAZING! Here are just a few highlights from the day. Stay tuned for a little photo booth fun!!!
