There is something special about photographing couples that are really in love.  You catch their meaningful glances and gazes.  It really is such an honor to be a part of that experience.  This family was no exception.  They were casual and playful with one another and we had a great time walking around five points together.   Don’t miss big brother’s karate moves in that last picture…he was a riot!

I am telling you, I nearly cheered when this sweetie came in for her newborn session! Just loo at that sweet face and all that hair!! Frankie and I teamed up for this one because she wanted to get some AMAZING family shots of them to pair up with the gorgeous maternity session she did for them and I had some ideas for a squishy girl that I wanted to try. Miss R was just PERFECT for everyone right up to the end and we were both able to get what we wanted.

These two are a HOOT. HOOT I tell you! Now, I am sure at home there are times when mom and dad want to pull their hair out. But, when these two come in to the studio, they LOVE each other. Truly love each other. I think what sealed the deal for me on their sibling love affair was this:

We were talking about DS games, and which were their favorite ones. I asked little sister if she ever played the DS and big brother piped up “Oh, YES. You know, she looks little and small, but she is REALLY GOOD at playing the DS. She doesn’t play it like a baby. She can PLAY it.”

I know, that seems like such a small statement, but anyone with children, especially older brother/little sister children will know what a true testament to love this is! Big brothers just don’t openly gush about their little sisters And, she loves him too. So so so much! There are a few photos I have of her just staring at him in complete admiration while he is totally oblivious. Yes, friends, they can totally get on each others nerves at home but get them out in public and their true feelings for each other come out

This little guy came in on his adoption finalization day! I was blown away by how much he actually does look like his mommy and daddy!

And then there were three…..

This gorgeous family is expecting their first child soon! I am always so amazed how women can make it through the summer months in the last trimester of their pregnancy. I would be DYING from the heat. I think sweaty beast would pretty much sum me up. However, this mom is truly glowing and breezing through these last few weeks. Happy people make me smile. These two are certainly happy to take on this adventure known as parenthood!

Ooohhhhhhhhhhhhhh! I bet mama gets this all the time….”Ohhhhhhhh are these all yours!?” Secretly I hope she replies with “No, actually, I don’t know who these children to belong to nor why they are calling me mom!?”

I can think of few women who possess the strength, patience and pure desire to parent more children than they have arms, but these parents do! One might think the studio was complete and total chaos this morning, but actually, it was quite the opposite! We had fun, we played, we laughed, and the 6 big siblings were a dream! Laid back and casual, just the way we like it here

This sweetie is on our Tales From the Crib plan and we’re thrilled to have her there because she’s just so darn cute! I sure got my dose of giggles with her in the studio a few days ago. It’s funny, some babies her age a still very baby-ish and round, but I don’t think she’s ever been round and baby-ish! She’s an adventurous little thing too, no fear at all. Love it!
