This little sweetie came into the studio yesterday! I sure got my dose of new baby love because my arms are sore today from all the holding and bouncing! I’m in total love with big sisters eyes too, all green and blue, wow! Big brother was confused as to why he was there, but talking about how stinky new sister is made him smile a little.

She’s back and cuter than ever!

Seriously, I haven’t seen this girl in 7 months and she turns into a totally different little girl! She’s walking, talking and she’s blonde! I mean, how did that happen?? This little girl makes me want to have maaaybe one of my own. Check out her 12 months, 8 months and her 4 months sessions!

Sweet and Sassy

I met this sweetie at her home in Athens yesterday. She’s probably one of the most self-aware two-year0olds that I’ve ever met! She KNOWS what she wants and she refuses to be sidetracked. She sidestepped all of my tricks too! Plus, I got the bright idea that I wanted to carry that zebra chaise outside for photos, which was quite the workout before I’d had my Diet Coke in the morning. Then she refused to sit on it! I thought all our hard work bringing it out was for nothing, but we finally managed to get her on it by telling her she wasn’t allowed. Whew!

Oh good gracious!!! This little beauty is one of our Tales From the Crib babies. She is the most chilled, laid back, hard to make really smile babies I’ve photographed! However, I could just stare at her ALL DAY LONG! She has fabulous eyelashes, perfect lips, and the bluest eyes! We hung out this morning in the natural light studio and just captured her being herself! I can’t wait to see the beautiful little girl she grows up to be!

Party of four!

I swear four was the magic number here. Family of four, four minute apart contractions. Yea, all about 4. All throughout the session mom was hanging in there with some ferocious contractions! Having been on bed rest for FOREVER, this was her first day back on her feet! She had finally made it far enough that going into labor was no longer risky. And so, of course, having your photos done is the way to spend your day! I am not gonna lie….I was sitting there WAITING for her water to break. It would have been just our luck! The bummer for mom is……no water broke, and baby boy is STILL all comfy cozy on the inside! He’s just setting the stage for what he’ll be like as a toddler….everything on HIS terms

Oh good grief! Just look at this precious bundle of joy! Heather usually shoots newborns, and occasionally we will tag team a few. This is the first one I’ve done by myself in a LONG time! It was a ton of fun to hang out with Miss Janie and her people. She has a proud big brother who was off the Atlanta Aquarium the day we took these. So fitting seeing as how he is Jonah These were all done in the natural light portion of our studio!

Little bundle

This sweetie is on our Belly to Baby and Tales From the Crib plans so we will get to see her a lot more through the year. This session was so wonderful, one of those rare newborn sessions that the baby neither wakes up or wets on anything. I think I get a no-wet/no-wake baby maybe once a year, if I’m lucky. This session was done in our studio!
