Ohhhh the beautiful sounds these people make
Amanda is a vocalist and Arvin is a drummer. E is a diva and S is a lady-killer. Lots of fun these folks are! We spent the afternoon out at the UGA Botanical Gardens. We had a great time watching E’s hair get bigger and bigger and bigger as time went on. I fell ya girl, I feel ya!
Sara loves photography as much as I do! She also loves her crazy family. While we have lots of people call us for the satin, wrapped, intimate maternity photos. Her only request from me was “not traditional”. Now, I must say, everyone’s idea of traditional is different. So, I took this to mean, NO WRAPS , LOL! So, we didn’t even pull them out. We made this all about the crazy, fun family new baby girl was going to be a part of! Can’t wait to see how this little princess looks when she arrives!
But really, we should have been prepared for him to dive into the water!
Did a little session out at Sandy Creek Park this afternoon. Fabulous weather….considering it just snowed yesterday! The joy of photographing a 15 month old is that “You get what you get and you don’t cry a bit!” You don’t want to sit for photos on the steps? No problem, I’ll just keep walking. You don’t want to sit on the stairs and play Itsy Bitsy Spider? No problem, I’ll watch you climb them! You don’t want to stop running into the water? No problem! I’ll follow you into it. I probably won’t submerge my entire body like you did….but I’ll have a fabulous time photographing it
Thanks John and Morgan for hanging out and not freaking when he decided that it would be a TON of fun to play IN the water….and being the chill parents that you were when he “dove” right in
Daughters that is!
This family is getting ready to welcome a brand new baby girl in their lives! Each and every one of them, including mom and dad are totally stoked about this new addition. While they still have nailed down the name, the girls certainly each have their own idea of what the newest little one should be named….
Chloe, Emma, Twinkle Toes (or something of that variety, lol!)
And seriously….to look THIS good when you are in your 39th week of pregnancy # four…it’s just ridiculous! Tracy you rock on with your bad self!

I haven’t been able to post much on the blog lately because it is “preschool season”. Which means I spend my days photographing hundreds of 5 and unders and my nights getting their proofs ready for their orders. I’ve also been photographing some “top secret” stuff that I can’t share
But it is sooooo worth it
Anyhow….this post isn’t about ME…it’s about this little gem of a girl below. Her mom is a rockstar. A superstar…..the kind of person that you just want to have in your life non-stop. And this little girl is blessed to have her. Next to me, could you ask for a better mom than one who allows the crazy photographer to hang her 6ft off the ground just to get THE shot? Ohhhh, I couldn’t resist….calm down grandmas…I promise….no harm to the child was done in any of these photographs….except, maybe, that one time….
To date….one of my most creative sessions…and I’ll take more like this…this is MY kind of baby photography…and thankfully, mom’s too!
