This little sweetie started out so so super shy at first, but it wasn’t long before she was dancing and running like the true princess she is. I always love the magical looks I get out of them too, and everyone notices a Fairytale Princess coming!

Sweet and Sassy

I met this sweetie at her home in Athens yesterday. She’s probably one of the most self-aware two-year0olds that I’ve ever met! She KNOWS what she wants and she refuses to be sidetracked. She sidestepped all of my tricks too! Plus, I got the bright idea that I wanted to carry that zebra chaise outside for photos, which was quite the workout before I’d had my Diet Coke in the morning. Then she refused to sit on it! I thought all our hard work bringing it out was for nothing, but we finally managed to get her on it by telling her she wasn’t allowed. Whew!

Oh good gracious!!! This little beauty is one of our Tales From the Crib babies. She is the most chilled, laid back, hard to make really smile babies I’ve photographed! However, I could just stare at her ALL DAY LONG! She has fabulous eyelashes, perfect lips, and the bluest eyes! We hung out this morning in the natural light studio and just captured her being herself! I can’t wait to see the beautiful little girl she grows up to be!

Summer heat

This was a hot and nasty session out at the Botanical Gardens last night. I swear, I almost fell over from the heat and humidity. Even sweating didn’t help, it was so bad. Thank goodness this little guy was so smiley. He had a few moments of fuss, but then it was over in a blink and he was back to his happy self. He’s one of our Tales From the Crib baby planners, so check out his heads up session and his newborn session!

Party of four!

I swear four was the magic number here. Family of four, four minute apart contractions. Yea, all about 4. All throughout the session mom was hanging in there with some ferocious contractions! Having been on bed rest for FOREVER, this was her first day back on her feet! She had finally made it far enough that going into labor was no longer risky. And so, of course, having your photos done is the way to spend your day! I am not gonna lie….I was sitting there WAITING for her water to break. It would have been just our luck! The bummer for mom is……no water broke, and baby boy is STILL all comfy cozy on the inside! He’s just setting the stage for what he’ll be like as a toddler….everything on HIS terms

I’m feelin’ hot hot hot!

Oh my goodness. When this family and I met up at the Botanical Gardens for this sweetie’s standing session, it was so so nasty out! Poor girl was just so done with us before we even started, but she perked up when we got the chair out for her to stand up with help. She’s a Tales From the Crib baby graduate now, and you can see her sitting up, heads up session and her newborn session!

Hello, ladybug

This baby girl is graduating from our Tales from the Crib plan, and I’m so sad! It’s always wonderful to get to see them grown up, but it’s always so strange to realize that I won’t have to call them for another session in another 4 months! She had the cutest ever ladybug themed birthday party last week. Here is her sitting up session, her heads up session and her newborn session. She’s the baby on the cover of this year’s Athens BABY magazine!

Well, no, not really. But of course we say that about all the families that come through the studio! This little girl makes me laugh. Not because she is super giggly, but because she’s just HER. A thinker, a ponderer, a reserved little ball of sunshine. And, her mom is pretty cool too
