Amongst other various things. But newborn babies, being loved and adored, and kissed and held by their parents….THAT makes me smile. I love being able to SEE love on the faces of parents. There is nothing like it. There is no question that this little guy is loved. He is loved fully and completely by his parents. The way they hold him ever so gently. They way they work together to get him dressed and soothe him. They way they just stare at him. Yes, friends, this baby, he is LOVED!

These cuties were great for me. I expected a 4 year old boy to come in all grouchy and I’d have to really break out all my tricks to get anything good, but both of these sweeties did perfect.

about all sorts of things! This sweet girl is one of those minds. I love how inquisitive she is and how she doesn’t just ASK questions. She really and truly listens to the answers! This session I was able to get a ton of different expressions! Mom, Dad, you are SO IN TROUBLE!!!

There is something special about photographing couples that are really in love.  You catch their meaningful glances and gazes.  It really is such an honor to be a part of that experience.  This family was no exception.  They were casual and playful with one another and we had a great time walking around five points together.   Don’t miss big brother’s karate moves in that last picture…he was a riot!

There’s nothing quite like a photo session right in your own front yard.  We spent a beautiful fall afternoon at this family’s home.  This sweet girl is my own daughter’s classmate and she was delighted to show me all around her home.   Aren’t those fall colors in their yard amazing?!

This sweetie made me laugh for the whole session. I wish it wasn’t freezing cold that day, but she made the most of it. Pants over tights under a skirt so she could warm up between shots, and she still was chilly!

I love this girl. Like, if I could have a daughter EXACTLY like her, I’d be like “Um, hey honey, we’re making babies right now.” I saw her this spring for some owl fairy modeling and last fall for some fall 2yr photos.
