I love shooting on wet days! Everything is so much more colorful. This sweet guy made my afternoon today a little brighter!

CHAOS!
Dude, seriously….such is life with an 18 monther. They are independent, they are strong-willed, they are explorers….THEY ARE FAST! Good gracious. I burned enough calories during this session that I harbored ZERO guilt going home to claim my 12oz. reward!
However….the thing about chaos is you must embrace it! You can’t try to get a handle on it, no, that does nothing but create frustration, you just let it run its course. And so, we did! The end result…totally worth it!
Yea, you can see mischief written all over his face!

Sweet Big Sis.

LOVE mama love!

Dad’s know just what to do to embrace the chaos!

Yeah, let me tell you how much I love these kids. I rented a fisheye lens for another shoot this week and decided to use it today for a test drive. I said “Okay, lean in really close and yell at me!” Yeah, two out of three’s not bad.

This guy is one we’ve seen quite often, but we’ve never met Daddy because he’s always been deployed or in training. This time he was in, but it started raining right as I left for the gardens. I was worried that the photos were just going to nasty and grey, but they’re fabulous! A family of pretty subject sure helps too!

Oh, this sweet boy is one of our cutest babies in our From the Crib baby plan! I can’t believe he’s already graduating!! Check out his 9 month session, his 6 month session, his 3 month session and his newborn session! He’s lost those baby cheeks for sure, but no wonder because he was already RUNNING! Eeeek!

This sweetheart is no stranger to Stylized Portraiture for sure, but this is her first outdoor fairytale session. We hiked around the gardens for a bout an hour and a half, just trotting around and taking it all in and talking. I giggle myself silly every time I listen to this kid because she just talks about some really funny stuff.

Oh my, these two were so good to me. Everything I asked in the blink of an eye. We actually had to wait around a little at the end for the light to get to where I wanted it to because they did so good. The best part about them is the love they have. These two love each other so much, the family said they actually had to make a rule about too much hugging at school. The second photo? Unposed. They actually posed themselves and the older one shouted back “Take this picture!”

Oh, just LOOK at these gorgeous girls! I got to play dress up with these sweethearts for a nice long time Saturday. I was told that the older girl is the one not so into dresses, and the younger was the talkative one. Then they got there and the older one is the chatty one! Both had a blast there though, and we got some great photos.
