The time change has made our schedule for outdoor sessions pretty awesome. Yea, who doesn’t love having to get a family of 5 up, fed, dressed, out the door, and to the studio by 8am!? Well, this family did it with grace and ease. On top of it all, not a hint, wink, or peep of stress or whininess!

Blue eyes and a blue day, poor girl. Mommy set her down and the waterworks started! That’s the way it usually goes with a 4 monther, I promise! Mommy finally talked to her enough (she refused to pay attention to me) to calm her down just long enough to make it through three outfits in record time and send her home. Mommy owns Elements Salon in five points, so ask her about her two sweethearts next time you’re in!
This kid made me giggle. He’s just 10 months old, but with that mouthful of teeth, he looks a lot older! He’s sooo smiley though. He laughed at me though this entire session and made my job seriously easy. I tell you, one thing I just LOVED about this session was the daddy. I think every photographer rarely gets an enthusiastic daddy, but this guy was cooing and laughing and jumping up and down with me. It was great. Oh, and check out that sock money hat. Frankie bought it for her baby girl, but I had to steal it for a session.
Oh, check out this TOTALLY cute little boy! Oh my goodness, I haven’t seen curls like that on a boy in a while. Mommy says he’s going in for a haircut soon, but wanted photos before she did it. She came with two outfits too. The first one was a cute sweater vest, but then she pulled out the second one and I hard a hard time not squealing “Ohhhh! Hedgehogs!” Yeah, the hedgehogs won.
This sweetie is sure one of the most memorable recent newborns we’ve had. Check OUT that creamy perfect skin! I bought this blue flower pot with this boy in mind and I was so not letting them get out of there without getting that shot. The other dotty one and the brown one were afterthoughts, but I actually ended up liking those better!
Lil’ T came by to see us this morning for a 4 month session. He has the MOST intriguing eyes I have seen. Not so much brown, but not quite blue, and really not green. But you just want to keep looking at them! It just so happens that Heather was at the studio, and found me quite amusing LOL! So amusing in fact that she recorded a tid-bit of what sort of craziness I make out of baby sessions
And yes folks….at the end of nearly every 4 month session we get the I AM SO TOTALLY SICK OF YOU AND YOUR BLACK BOX face
I love the familes that do photos in June, because you know they’re laid back. We sweated all the way through this session, but they were fine with it. Not a worry about how they felt, not a complaint at all! Plus, when you have kids as cute as these two, it’s hard to get worried about how the photos will turn out!
