That’s exactly what happened at this little one’s first birthday session! Blue icing was EVERYWHERE… his feet, his hands, his face, his mom’s shirt! But we definitely had fun doing it 
This little one is the newest of four babies and I love how laid back mom and dad were. They were up for anything I wanted to do and really were fabulously mellow and kind. Plus, how can you get over such a sweet face?
Oh, how how how cute can you get? This jacket mom brought with her and told me she’d bought it YEARS before they’d even considered getting pregnant. I loved how well it fit this sweetie and how totally adorable it was on her. Plus, how cute cute are her gorgeous eyes and squishy butt? 
Ok, not quite…but almost! This handsome man is going to have a large print from his 4 month session hung up in the Full Bloom Yoga Room! It is amazing to see what this little guy can do! Sit cross-legged, the downward facing dog, and he has incredible balance! He is also the perfect mixture of his mom and dad. Love it!!!
and then there is another line to that song, but I am too beat to remember it! 12 hour day at the studio, fabulous, awesome sessions, fabulous, awesome people. And I, am a fabulously, awesome, tired person!

Another Tales From the Crib baby! This little guy had his “heads up” session on Saturday! Man, what fabulous weather it was! While we typically do these sessions indoors, it was so nice outside and he had such good head control we headed to the outdoors! Mom and dad also happened to have their eldest “son” with them, so we threw Charlie in for a few photos too!
This photo gets a little blurb all its own! Mom asked for some photos in his christening gown. Well, OF COURSE! Then, she proceeded to tell me how she had had the gown custom made from her wedding dress! Can we say AWESOME! We keep carrying on the conversation because I am in total awe of the beauty of this gown and what do you know…..MONICA GILSTRAP made her gown! The same Monica Gilstrap who hooked me up with a black corduroy jacket for my son when I couldn’t find one for family photos! Small, small world I tell you! Oh how I LOVE this age! They are sitting, they are crawling a little but, but oh how they are HAPPY! Little Man came in to the studio still asleep. Woke up with an INSTANT smile! Be still my heart I don’t know how parents handle this much cuteness!!!
CHAOS!
Dude, seriously….such is life with an 18 monther. They are independent, they are strong-willed, they are explorers….THEY ARE FAST! Good gracious. I burned enough calories during this session that I harbored ZERO guilt going home to claim my 12oz. reward!
However….the thing about chaos is you must embrace it! You can’t try to get a handle on it, no, that does nothing but create frustration, you just let it run its course. And so, we did! The end result…totally worth it!
Yea, you can see mischief written all over his face!
