Sisters

These girls were so perfect. This was a last minute thing so we didn’t get rained out today, so we moved it to yesterday. I’m so in love with Fairy Tale sessions. As usual, these were taken at the UGA Botanical Gardens here in Athens. It threatened to rain the entire time we were there, but the skies finally let go 2/3rds of the way in, so I put them in petti’s and had them pond splashing/stomping for a while. I love moms that are willing to just let me do whatever I want!

Adoption is beautiful!

I have a love affair with adoptions. I know anyone who watches this blog knows, but it’s obvious. It’s just so amazing. These girls came all the way from Kazakhstan! Miss T. and Miss L. had a blast with me yesterday at the State Botanical Gardens here in Athens. They picked a Fairy Tale session and had a great time prancing around in princess dresses. Miss T. didn’t nap on the way up from Atlanta and got quite tired, but was still ever patient with me as long as I made funny noises. I am SO in love with the Miss T. ‘swoon’ photo and Miss L. just smiled the whole time!

The cute!

Oh, let me tell you how I loved these kids. The older sister was SO patient. While her younger sister was busy being three and the baby was busy being one, she managed to sit still, calm them both, listen to my directions, be careful with her special dress and keep her hair out of her face. It’s too bad she lives out of state, because I’d so be using her for more.

Sunset at the State Botanical Gardens here in Athens is stunning, and makes the Fairy Tale sessions just magical. These girls had a blast running around in my princess gowns.

Miss L.

Can I tell you how much I love this girl? Seriously, she gives me something stunning every single time. Plus, she’s patient with me. Poor thing couldn’t breathe well or lift her arms in one dress that was two sizes too small for her, but instead of complaining about it, she giggled about it!

Miss E

I got to shoot one of my favorite clients Saturday morning. I needed to get some photos of new dresses for a promo I’m doing, so I decided to borrow Miss. E. for some. Love this kid! Last time I saw her, she wasn’t talking much at all, but this time she sure is!

Miss C at the Gardens

As I was editing this session it occurred to me that it’s probably the last Fairytales session of the year. I do have a few warm dresses, but unless it snow it’ll be dead and brown outside, not vary pretty. I was quite disappointed that I probably won;t get to play dress-up again until March.

Anyway, this girl was such a sweetheart. Certainly a great way to end the season. She had a great deal of patience with me because I kept calling her and her mommy the wrong names. I fell in love with the look on her face in this first one. It was so surprising at the time because she didn’t look at me so much as THROUGH me.

Miss Z’s Fairytale

This girl was so funny. She was a wonderful pretender. All on her own, she pretended to go to sleep, then proceeded to ‘wake up’ as a fairy in the ‘human world’. To get a few good laughs out of her I made a few (okay, a lot) of poot noises, so she decided that I had to be the wingless poot fairy.
