Oh, just LOOK at these gorgeous girls! I got to play dress up with these sweethearts for a nice long time Saturday. I was told that the older girl is the one not so into dresses, and the younger was the talkative one. Then they got there and the older one is the chatty one! Both had a blast there though, and we got some great photos.
Mom called me to book this session and said “Oh, and she’s pretty shy. You might have your work cut out for you.” Well, not so much! They rolled up and she popped out of the van like a daisy and spouted “Hi Miss Feather!!”. Lord, I love my job. This sweetie was a blast and oh so cute. I mean, just look at her sweet face and swirly hair!
Fall Princesses have been in short supply for the past two years due to the weather and late leaf changing. It got too cold before the leaves changed last year to shoot any. I think this year is going to be fantastic for some burgundy, copper and gold princesses, so I don’t want to miss out!

We did a HUGE variety with her! She was so content the whole time….except when mom was holding her a certain way. She was quick to let us know that wasn’t gonna fly!

This little girl couldn’t have been cuter. I told her that she could go do whatever she wanted and she got this look on her face and shouted “REALLY??” I assured her that I would follow her and ask her to sit in a few special places, but she was in charge the rest of the time. She ran off about 10 feet and looked back and said “Um.. hello? You’re supposed to be following me?”
One of the special places I asked her to sit was in a new field of wildflowers. I was sooooo happy that she decided she would even though there were bees all around her that she was scared of.
I am really digging these new fairy wings! I had a blast with one of our girls last night at the Botanical Gardens again. This little girl is always SO FUNNY. She talks the entire time and is really mature for her age, so the conversation topics are always really entertaining. If you say something silly yourself, she replies “Uh, Hello? That’s silly.” I had to include one outtake here because it was seriously cracking me up all night long.I think we were talking about boogers or bugs.
This morning was my first test run for my newly made fairy wings and I tell you, it was a test RUN! We ran all over the Botanical Gardens. Through the river and over the woods, and we both left soaked and covered in mud. I LOVE sessions like this, and thank goodness her daddy was cool with it too. Once I assured him that the dress would wash, he was gung-ho about getting her all in the mud! I did find out that the wings are pretty durable and mostly waterproof too, which is handy to know! Right at the last part, the staff at the gardens turned the sprinklers on and we played in it!
