Mondays suck. Period. Really people, there isn’t much other way to put it. We just spent 2 days lazing around with our peeps, hanging out, watching football, antiquing, whatever it is you do on a weekend. Then, we wake up and it’s Monday. Grrrr. Back to the daily grind. Now, sometimes, I like Mondays! You know, on those weekends where your kids did nothing but fight, there was a ton of running around and no relaxing at all, the only “me” time you got was when you pretended to be in the bathroom for 37 minutes and your children no longer bought it so barged in to whine and cry while you were sitting on the toilet. However, they all noticed the lid was closed and the laptop was in your lap. No, that one doesn’t happen to you?

My Manic Monday post has turned in to a big long ramble. Let me get it out….
I’ve had lots, I mean LOTS of emails from our lady friends who have become interested in giving their husbands a little more ummmm….intimate gift this year for Christmas. A gift that says, “Yea, we have all these kids (or just demanding jobs), we barely have a conversation without interruption, and we have little alone time, but dammit, I am STILL your wife, and I still LOVE you like no other woman can.” Yea boys, even your mama is out on the type of love these ladies are referring to
I am glad that my recent Facebook album for Breast Cancer Awareness could inspire such a reaction. We often forget just how hot we really are to our men. We tend to get wrapped up in the day to day life as parents….and for those of you not parents, you know how the day to day life of just work can suddenly send your head spinning. And, if you are anything like me…you find yourself working a lot more and a whole lot harder these days!

So, I have declared November 6, 7 and 8 LADIES WEEKEND at Stylized Portraiture!
What? Ladies weekend? YES! Sometimes we just need a little “me time” in our lives, and I am giving that to you. It’s a ladies only weekend where you and your girl friends can come hang out, have a few sips of your favorite beverage, perhaps eat a few things, and then….and THEN….take part in creating the most awesome, perfect gift for the man in your life….a portrait of YOU! Or, several portraits of you…I don’t care…you can create him his very own Little Black Book! The attire you choose to wear in your photos is entirely up to you. You can come in wearing a turtleneck and floor length skirt, you can wear your favorite little black dress, heck, you can wear your one bra that makes you feel your best! I don’t care. Whatever your outfit is, it needs to be about YOU. Who you are, who you want him to see you as. But, yes, clothing is required

Email me! I might typically say call me, but I have absolutely NO VOICE right now. My throat is so swollen, the tonsils I don’t have are touching. So, yea, phone is not the best idea.
Next question, well, this should probably be the first question, is How Much!? I had a hard time deciding this. Really, I did. So, here is my plan…..
This Ladies Only time will take place in 2-hour blocks. It is $200 per block. Now, if you are super shy and don’t want any of your friends to come with you, it’s $200 (our normal boudoir rate). If you are super reserved and KNOW you need some friends to encourage you, and perhaps go first, then you all get to split the $200 amongst each other
Really, I encourage you to do this with your friends. Being surrounded by women who love you is empowering….it is comfortable, and let’s be honest, when you are down to your….well, whatever you’re going to wear, with a big camera in your face, you NEED comfort.
I can tell you that as soon as I hit “send” on this, three of these 2-hour blocks will be snatched up. So go ahead, and email to get your spot!
