Saturday afternoon I did a newborn session for a new baby girl. I take a space heater with me to warm up the area around the babies so they sleep longer for me. While I was working somehow that space heater managed to vibrate itself off the table and crash to the floor!
Since it has a fan, I’ve always used it for white noise as well as heat, so I went out on Sunday afternoon to go find a new heater and a white noise machine (since I’ve always thought a heartbeat sound would work well). I went to Target first! Did you know that heaters and white noise machines are considered ‘seasonal’ items? The heaters I can understand, but apparently no one has babies or needs to sleep except at Christmas!
Anyway, since I was there, I picked up this week’s Manic Monday gift, a $15 Target card. This one goes to the first person who emails info@stylizedportraiture.com and can tell me where my favorite place for sessions is!
EDIT: My favorite place for sessions is the Athens Botanical Gardens! Next time it’ll be a harder question! Congrats to Bethanie for getting it.
EDIT 2: I found a white noise machine at Wal-Mart today and we have a spare space heater at the studio. Yay!
