It’s a good life

Ah… the life of a parent of two. Helping the baby get to his feet in the grass, toddler running the other direction. Two is a good age, but not often predictable or direct-able. Sessions like these keep me on my toes for sure! Meet Miss M and her little brother C. She was shy at first, but then decided I was nice to be around and her brother was just happy the whole time. Mom was one of those great mothers who is totally chill about everything.

Every once in a while I get a really entertaining accidental self portrait when I’m practicing ‘shooting from the hip’ (holding the camera somewhere besides in front of my face to take the picture). It’s harder with the big camera than my little point-and-shoot fun camera, I’ll tell you! This one made me giggle a bit. There’s me on the bench and you can see mom on the far right and dad and baby brother just to the right of me!
