I think I’ve reached that time in my life when I have to either start working off the extra weight or just keep getting bigger and bigger. I’ve reluctantly decided to start working out with my BFF, doing Pilates three times a week. ::sigh:: I don’t want to. I know it’s just plain going to hurt for a while. All that ick to get rid of a little belly flab.
In that vein, today’s manic monday is all about wellness. Today’s special giveaway is a trip to see Pat at Full Bloom here in Athens for a Yoga Class! Pick one of the four below:
Prenatal Yoga - breathe and strengthen the core muscles of birth. Release tension and ease common discomforts. Practice meditations and visualizations for labor. Thursdays – 6 PM.
Yoga Sprouts - fun, playful yoga for children two to six years old. Build strength and flexibility; enhance relaxation and confidence. Wednesdays – 3:30 PM.
Mama-Baby Yoga - for new mothers and babies (6 weeks old to pre-crawling.) Practice relaxation techniques, move and stretch with your baby, learn postures that can improve digestion and reduce fussiness. Enjoy bonding with your baby and connecting with other women. Fridays – 10:30 AM.
Yoga for Everyone - for all levels and for men and women. These yoga classes will challenge you with strength building and cardio as well as provide deep stretching. Sundays – 9:00 AM
