Athens Area Maternity and Baby Fair!

We had a blast today at the Athens Maternity and Baby Fair! We talked to about 150 people, and boy, my throat is sore now! We had a great time meeting all of the mommies and mommies to be. Captured Light now offers photo bags!

I’ve had so many people asking about photo handbags that I now offer them! These bags measure 9×12x4 and are made a sturdy microfiber. The photos are printed right onto the fabric and are very clear and colorful.

Wall Displays

A recent client and I met earlier this month to discuss wall displays. She said “Heather, I love your work and want to have them all, but I just haven’t got a clue how to display them!” I thought about it for a while and came up with a few things for her, but not everyone can visualize what a wall full of portrait art will look like.

I’ve built these display examples to show what you can get out of a few prints and frames on an empty wall. Hope these give all of you a few ideas on how to display your prints and storyboards!

Best for over a couch or in a foyer. This needs a really big space to work well.

Over a couch or bed for this one. Even over a mantle would look great.

Over a crib, down a hallway, over a couch.. this one is a really easy one to place.

Up the stairs!

New Books

I am upgrading book manufacturers! The new books will be 8×8 hardcover books with 20 thick pages in color. The best thing about them is that we’ll finally be doing away with the dust jacket and moving to a nice professionally bound and laminated cover. The new books allow for some really sweet custom designs as well, which means your books will be as unique as it’s subjects! Check out the custom design below for a sample of how great they look.
