Meet Baby J.

He’s such a sweet thing too, but sooo sensitive about his feet. I woke him up every time I touched his feet. His mommy warned me that he’s a poo machine, but I just laughed it off and said “Oh, that’s normal!” No, this kid got every single blankie we had in the studio! Not quite a ‘newborn’ anymore at four weeks old, but we got some anyway, especially that big giant smile!

Squish

I photographed the brand new baby daughter of Trina Riggott a few days ago! Meet Miss Emerson Frances Riggott at 6 days old. She was a pretty curly baby, but she sure didn’t like me moving her hands away from her face!

Blue and grey!

I’m going to start recommending blue and grey as clothing color choices for outside. I mean, just look at this family! They are all stunning and so well put together. And that orange dress/jumper the girl is wearing? I nearly hugged her mother for bringing her in it. The books on the steps: Mom had this idea. Her study/library is warm tones and she wanted a photo in an old library to put in there, but there are none around here. Instead, she just brought a bunch of books from home. Isn’t she clever?  Unconventional, but I really loved the way this turned out.

Family in red!

This is one of my favorite families here in Athens. The parents are always so fun to be around and they make beautiful babies! This time we met up at the Botanical Gardens for their fall session. I love that they wore red. Bright colors can get a little scary on some people, but I love the way they look!

Those blue eyes

This is a good friend of mine and his son. Dad remembered this “really awesome” place in the Botanical Gardens I hadn’t been and took us out there. It was about a 15ft drop from where we were to some rocks below. It was scary!! I’m not afraid of heights, but I am really clumsy so i get a little scared of places I could trip and fall from. Totally worth it, but I won’t be going back there anytime soon. Yikes!
