This little man was born at just over 6lbs, but in his 11 days, he’s slept so much that he’s down to 5.5! He’s SO small, and SO sleepy. I had a ball at this mommy’s house just moving him into any position I wanted to because he was so out.

Than a sweet sleeping baby? This little angel was sweet as pie! Feisty and full of personality, even at 2 weeks old!!! I really just wanted to hold and snuggle her, but she wasn’t having much of that with mom and dad….no way she was giving me any baby love!

This little one was amazing, I swear. Once we got her to sleep, she was floppy and bendable and let us do whatever we wanted to with her. I also got to use my vintage baby scale from Michelle again, and this funny thing is that this client is her neighbor!
A friend of mine from college I reunited with last year just had a new baby boy. He’s little brother to two beautiful girls who just love him. Even the dogs love him to bits.
And what a sweet baby she is! Ok, so I will admit….not the best sleeper in the world, but boy she sure is pretty to look at! Her sibs were nothing short of proud either. They both wanted in on all the action.
And, while we did get her to sleep in daddy’s arms, we could not get her any further than this for that beloved “one arm” shot.
There are other family photos I could show you, but this one sums up the family! Always laughing, have a great time together. I swear, I haven’t laughed this hard with any family yet!
Loved the colors we had to work with too. Baby “B” looks great against these bold colors.
Here’s what mom and dad do for entertainment…just lay her up on the coffee table and watch her sleep…hehehe
Two sessions yesterday. Newborn and a senior. I had never really thought about the difference before. But here I was with this young lady, about to be “grown” and “on her own”, and it hit me…one day this will be MY daughter. Then, to go back and do the newborn session….I was hit with…this WAS my kids. So sweet, small, and innocent with parents there, protecting them, fulfilling their every need. Man, you don’t know HOW BAD I wanted to bust out pics of my session from Lydia and tell these parents….and THIS is what you have to look forward to
Lydia was a trip. Her and her best girl Brittany. The weather was horrible though. However, Lyds looked fabulous and we were able to pull of some great shots….sweat and all! Me sweating..not her of course
And then…..THEN…..the most calming, relaxing baby environment I have been in. Seth and Amanda are the COOLEST parents. Everything around them was music driven. Royce would cry, Seth would bust out the guitar and Amanda would sing a song. Really…to be there, and watch it…was amazing!!
This boy is a friend’s new baby. She’s a first time mommy, but he came out at nearly 9lbs and able to lift his head up! He scared me to bits during his session by turning himself over on the beanbag too! I love this kid already, but he managed to poo on nearly all the blankets I brought with me, then peed on me and his mommy. This boy also has an AMAZING nursery decorated in a sea theme. I found the squidopus and just HAD to use it.
