As a mother, I’ve always found the last 2 months of pregnancy to draaaaag on! As if those 8 weeks are 200% longer than the first 32 were. This mama only has 8 weeks to go. The anticipation is building, that transition from holding your baby close to your heart and then holding them in your hands. To come face to face with a piece of you and discover if she looks anything like how you pictured her. I have no doubts baby Layla will be just as gorgeous as her mama

And then there were three…..

This gorgeous family is expecting their first child soon! I am always so amazed how women can make it through the summer months in the last trimester of their pregnancy. I would be DYING from the heat. I think sweaty beast would pretty much sum me up. However, this mom is truly glowing and breezing through these last few weeks. Happy people make me smile. These two are certainly happy to take on this adventure known as parenthood!

Double the diapers, double the bottles, double the laundry….double the joy!!! And, double the jealousy on my part! Why you ask? Because at 34 weeks pregnant with ONE child, I didn’t look this good! I mean, seriously….no way she’s carrying twins. But that’s just my jealousy talking. Em, you look FABuLOUS! I can’t wait to meet the two little beans in there

This is the second ‘Bama fan we had in the studio this week! Mom made the 4 hour drive over from Birmingham to have her sweet, perfect baby belly photographed! I can’t wait to see this little newborn girl in her pink Alabama outfit!!!

Really, one of the most flattering compliments someone can make to our work is to drive 5 hours just to see us! And that’s exactly what these folks did! Now, they drove more than that really, from Florida, to South Carolina, and then to us. But whatever

I have no doubt that this baby will come into this world well loved. We had a great time at the studio Saturday morning during this shoot! Not only did we photograph them, but we were even able to squeeze in a hair cut for Dad over at Honey’s Salon! He came wearing a hat….I just couldn’t have him shirtless, holding Mom’s beautiful belly….in a hat But, it all turned out OK. Thanks so much to my girl Stephanie at Honey’s!!!

I can’t wait to meet “the baby!” Then it’s my turn to drive 5 hours for a little newborn fun!

That’s what’s coming for this sweet family, a new baby brother! They were in last Christmas for a session for their big little man last Novemeber. When mom came to pick up her order, she had found out they were expecting this baby! Exciting stuff I tell ya! Mom gets to remain the sole princess of the house! This time around mom and dad chose to do the Belly to Baby plan and the Tales From the Crib! Stay tuned for baby’s newborn session in a few weeks!!!
