Oh my goodness. When this family and I met up at the Botanical Gardens for this sweetie’s standing session, it was so so nasty out! Poor girl was just so done with us before we even started, but she perked up when we got the chair out for her to stand up with help. She’s a Tales From the Crib baby graduate now, and you can see her sitting up, heads up session and her newborn session!
Isn’t this family colorful? They got out of the car and I was like “Oh, I LOVE everyone’s wardrobe!” Very summery! Thank goodness too, because it was 95F and steamy miserable for this session out at the Botanical Gardens last night. We seriously has to slam through it fast because it was about to rain. I felt a few drops while out there, but the skies opened up on my way home for sure. This session was a Celebrating Adoption session for the littlest man of the house. They had to wait two years for him!
And this mama is no exception! Yea, again, baby’s already here. Has been here, will be in soon for a From the Crib session….but whatever, we’ll just call this reminiscing
That term has a lot of meaning in this house! Not only does little man love his stuffed pup, but mom is a veterinarian and they have a few dogs of their own! I can’t get over how much sparkle is in this little guy’s eyes!!!
The “heads up” stage is one of my favorites! They are just really starting to come into their own personality and be playful. And, by looking at the photos, you would NEVER guess how much he loves his dad
I have photographed this family since they got married! It has been so fun to watch them grow. Now that there are three, life has a little more….ummm…..chaos to it
This is the first session that all three kiddos were as chipper as could be. Quinn has his dad’s attitude about photos, “No thanks!” But this day, thankfully, he was hamming it up!
Now, same family as below, but baby brother is here! The sister is one of my favorite girls ever, I have been shooting her for over 5 years. She’s the daughter of a very close friend of mine I have known for 12 years. They just welcomed her baby brother. This shoot had been building in my head for 8 months, ever since I found out they were expecting. I’m SO thrilled with the results. It helps to have such a patient big sister (she’s almost 10 years old!).
