Stylized Portraiture

As we gear up for the Athens Maternity and Baby Fair we are getting the details of our display just right! This year we would like to include testimonials from our clients along with a photo from their session. We are asking all maternity, newborn, and babies under 1 year clients to please send us your thoughts on our studio and your session. We love the emails that we get from you all following your sessions and after seeing your photos, but we would like this to be an “official” take on your experience with us!

In return for the time you are investing on giving us details of your experience, we would like to offer you a complimentary 5×7 from any of the previous sessions you may have had with our studio. If you would like to reserve this complimentary print for a future session, you may certainly do so!

Aren’t these boys gorgeous? This is a repeat baby and mom’s sister’s baby as well. Cute cute!

I have been awaiting the arrival of this family for many many months now :) I was so glad to see them walk into the studio tonight….all just as CUTE as could be!

Seriously….I am totally jealous of mom’s hair. Here I am sportin’ my humidity induced afro while she has the short ‘do I REALLY want

I can’t forget to mention how dad was SUPER helpful when we first started talking way back in….March….and he hooked me up with some info on updating my phone for optimum performance. 

Little man here was a trip! He was certainly not going to let me get the best of him. Little stinker would cut me a smile and then turn his head and “pretend” to cry. He sure did love his mama and daddy though. I am tellin’ ya, we NEVER get a family photo like this when the child is barely a year. They are so cute I want to hang them over MY fireplace!! 

Often times we have parents ask “At what point will we know the session is over?” Well….allow me to give you a visual as to when we know….

I passed these girls with their parents in the Athens Target a month or so ago. I gathered my courage and flagged them down and rushingly explained that I’m a photographer and the girls were gorgeous and could I please photograph them? The girls listened so well and have gotten prettier since I saw them last if anything. Plus, they’re smart, and everyone knows being smart is better than being pretty. Taken at the Athens Botanical Gardens as usual.

Had a fab afternoon with this 2009 North Oconee High School gal!She had one heck of a time this afternoon with a dead car battery and rushing home to get her clothes and still making it to the studio.

It is obvious that her true personality is quite the goof ball. But thankfully she didn’t run into any door jams, stub her toe, or trip outside on me. However, if you see this young lady around town, you MUST check out her jellyfish looking burn that is on her foot!!! LOL

It nearly was a session IN a fountain, honestly! This gorgeous family is new to Stylized Portraiture, bu we love them already! Not only are they all funny, but I love enjoying myself on shoots. The three-year-old and I both got into a small unfinished fountain at  the Athens Botanical Gardens this weekend and had a blast. I had to work on chasing him around the rest of the gardens, but we stayed here and cooled off for a while.

This family is one that I’ve shot a few times over the course of two years now, and they just keep getting prettier! We all met up at the Athens Botanical Gardens again (because you know I can’t stay away for more than a few days!) for these photos. It was hot, but everyone was oh so patient.

This gorgeous family made my whole week, I swear. Not only do they live on a stunning farm in Baldwin, Georgia, but they’re all so nice! I had a blast and can’t WAIT to go back for mommy’s newborn session.

Miss. J. is certainly a true princess. She was always smiling, always fun and made sure the frog had enough tea to drink. Not only is she sweet, but she’s smart too! After exhausting the normal animal sounds (”What sound does a cat make?”), I asked her “What sound does a… Dinosaur make?” I was expecting to get a “I don’t know!” and a laugh so I could snap a silly photo, but instead she thought about it for about 30 seconds and then said “I know! *STOMP STOMP STOMP*” complete with foot stomping motions! Very clever, she is, and we all know smart princesses are the best!
