Written by Heather LickliterThis little one was amazing, I swear. Once we got her to sleep, she was floppy and bendable and let us do whatever we wanted to with her. I also got to use my vintage baby scale from Michelle again, and this funny thing is that this client is her neighbor!
These girls were so perfect. This was a last minute thing so we didn’t get rained out today, so we moved it to yesterday. I’m so in love with Fairy Tale sessions. As usual, these were taken at the UGA Botanical Gardens here in Athens. It threatened to rain the entire time we were there, but the skies finally let go 2/3rds of the way in, so I put them in petti’s and had them pond splashing/stomping for a while. I love moms that are willing to just let me do whatever I want!
This child has been loved since before he was born. Wanted, longed for, cried for many a time. And here he sits, crawls, and stands with us at 9 months old! I cannot believe how he has grown and how much older he looks with his new hair cut! We decided to do his 9 month session at the Botanical Gardens in Athens, GA for a little something different. Ok, different for him, not for me, hehehehe. I think I have photographed more at the UGA Botanical Gardens in the last month than my entire 5 years in business. Here he is in all his glowing glory! I choose these first two so that you could see just how the sun changes in the hour we shoot at the Botanical Gardens. The first one is from the very beginning of the session and the second, the last shot of the day!

We were in Augusta yesterday for another friend’s graduation from medical school. She and I were walking back from dinner (8 blocks in the stunning warm air and sun) and I spotted a backlit field of grass. She’s very patient with me and allows me to kidnap her for pictures when I want to. 
She is a perfect model, so we were only there for about 5 minutes total, but I love the results.

Stylized Portraiture is looking for three age groups of boys and girls to participate in photos for an upcoming special. We’re lookingfor one girl and one boy of age 2, one girl and one boy age 3-4 and one girl and one boy age 5-7. These promotional sessions will take place May 22 and 23 in the evenings.
Daughters with dance experience is not necessary, but is a plus. Your child should be good at taking direction and comfortable in new situations and locations. I will have some photos coming up this week from Heather and Matt’s wedding that took place in Watkinsville, with their reception at the Georgia Center on UGA campus. I can’t WAIT to get some of those up for you to see, and some of her bridals too!!! So no, I promise, Heather isn’t doing all the work, I just can’t share yet…..BOO HISS.
Written by Frankie WylieThis cutie’s daddy works at the UGA Founder’s Memorial Garden here in Athens, so this family wanted photos of him there. My first time there, and I couldn’t believe how gorgeous it was! The little winding paths lead around the whole garden and make you feel like you’re in a secret world.
Mr. M. is SO sweet too. He sure loves his mommy and daddy, and he flirted with me a bit as well.
I had the wonderful opportunity to shoot today at a new location, the Founder’s Memorial Garden on the University of Georgia campus off of Lumpkin St here in Athens. This garden is gorgeous and a stunning place for photos. At the end of my shoot, I even met a kitty friend (and you all know my love affair with cats and hummingbirds)!
