Mondays are for monkeying around!

And this Monday is NO different.

So, those of you who know me….really, really KNOW me….or, have ever been to the studio….KNOW that I LOVE me some sock monkeys. *LOOOVVEE them* (said in my best Wheezy voice). I love them so much that I have a friend, in Louisiana, named Crystal, who I order CUSTOM sock monkeys from (http://www.etsy.com/shop/ElegantHobbies)! Her work is AMAZING. If you have ever seen/touched/felt Matilda, Mad Max (the pirate) or Manny, you KNOW that they are amazingly well made. Go Dawgs, go!

It’s become a family tradition for these young ladies to have their photos taken with the Dawgs. What a wonderful tradition it is! I mean, the girls get cuter and cuter each year, and these pups! Good grief, I almost….ALLLLMOOOOSSSTTTTT want to bring one home. Then, I think about how, in 2 weeks, these things will double in size and not be quite so cute and cuddly anymore. Yea. No thanks :)

This sweet bay here has grown so much since our last session! I couldn’t believe how smiley, happy-go-lucky he was! And, look at how handsome he looks in those big boy clothes!

Put a smile on your face….

*sigh* How cute is he!? This little man is the brother to our Best of 2008 winner. It is amazing to me how much they look alike, minus eye color!  Little dude was so content! While he wasn’t overwhelmingly excited about my ridiculous noises and games, he did pony up a few smiles for me :)

Mom’s best girl, Dad’s sweet princess…

Mmmm, mmmmm, mmmmm! This “heads up” stage is so fun! Babies are definitely still flexible, as is evident by the major foot gnawing we’ve got pictured below! Sweet little miss was our Best of 2009 winner in the newborn category! She is still just as gorgeous as back then! I cannot BELIEVE that hair. Mom worries she will rub/pull it all out, but I think she has plenty to spare ;)

Mommy Manic Monday!

Let’s face it, a good majority of our clients out there are moms! And, as we started gearing up for our 2010 Manic Mondays, we really wanted to keep you moms in mind for the freebies! So, today’s Manic Monday give away can be a mom’s best friend!

Courtney, the designer of the super, cute, awesome diaper holder  (http://www.etsy.com/shop/CourtneyRoo21) we are offering up today is a mom! And, as if that weren’t enough, she is also married to a fabulous military man who is currently deployed! So, on top of her full-time single mom gig, she is making these way cool diaper holders. We just photographed two of her amazing designs in the studio to show that not only can they be used as a convenient and compact way to carry diapers, a bottle, wipes, and diaper cream, but they can also GROW with your baby! Pictured below is a little girl with her diaper stash, and a big brother who uses it as his very own toy tote! I LOVE this product. I also love that it has a velcro closure, so when in the independent, I CAN DO IT MYSELF toddler stage, there isn’t any fighting :) These make the perfect baby shower gift! We can say this with confidence because we have already had 3 purchased and given as gifts…and the moms LOVE them!
