Oh, let me tell you how much I love squashy babies! This little miss was so sweet to me and so beautiful. I got to try out some new ideas for her session, including the princess bed. I was more excited about that faux-hawk we had to give her though. :p
And, I can honestly tell you, that today….mine is!

1. In reading the “About” page for Elements Salon, I quickly discovered that February is a very special month for them! Tell me why….
2. Again, “About” Elements, two of the ladies pictured have GOT to be related! Who are they?
3. If you were Frankie, what is the ONE place you would be oohhhhhh so sure to hit if you were in the 5 Points area!? No, Elements is not the answer to this one, although….they would be second on her list(*hint* it does you no good to enter if you aren’t “old”)
4. 5 Points is home to one of the neighborhood’s most loved places. What it is? I hear you can get some pretty awesome (and cheap) ice cream scoops from there! Sadly, the only time I went here was to buy batteries
5. Just across the street from Elements is this place….a very awesome place….that, if you weren’t thinking straight might make you think of bedtime…or pajamas…but no, when I go there, I think “O M G! I have got to go buy a cute new dress to go with these.”

We are getting back into the swing of things now that January has come and gone! On our schedule for the next few months are several product/commercial shoots! These are always a lot of fun, but sometimes we run out of fresh faces to use! We would really love to be able to have a running list of potential models along with current photos of them.
We have decided that this will be easiest if we hold two different days for people who would like to have their child considered to come in! We will take time with each child to not only photograph them, but to also get to know them and their personality. You should allot at least 30 minutes for the head-shot session.
Even the head shot sessions will require you to sign a model release. When your child is chosen for a specific “job”, you will need to sign an additional release that will allow the vendor to use the photos as well.
Because we know that it is not an easy request to have you bring your child to the studio just for the “chance” at something, we would like to gift each of you a 5×7 of your choice. Just a small token of our appreciation!
The two soonest open dates we have are:
Thursday, February 11: 10am-12pm and 2pm-4pm
Saturday, February 20: 10am-12pm and 2pm-4pm
