I’m over three…..

*I* am not over three years old….this was his response when I asked him how old he was. He simply stated “over three!” hahahahahha!

We had a great time laughing and paying on this early Friday morning. In between pretending to be asleep, naming Curious George’s brother and tickling mom we also took a few photos. It was a fabulous was to start the weekend!

Let’s get the whole family in on the portrait fun!

I seriously love when grandparents join in for family photos. I have so many fond memories of being with my grandparents growing up! I have no doubts these two will grow up with the same. This brother and sister duo came in for our Christmas mini sessions and this time brought along their entourage! Such an adorable bunch of people!

When you’re the youngest of 7, not much phases you!

And, I’m sure there aren’t that many people out there who are the youngest of seven;)

Miss MK, even on her not best feeling day, really knows how to turn it on! My favorite thing about photographing her is her many different expressions. Really, since birth she’s been able to communicate exactly how she feels in just a single look! Love this girl, and LOVE watching her grow. Our Tales From the Crib plan gives us the fabulous pleasure of watching them grow up right before our very eyes! It amazes me that in just a few short months she will already be one. Beth, where does the time go? Where does it go?

The waiting game…

As a mother, I’ve always found the last 2 months of pregnancy to draaaaag on! As if those 8 weeks are 200% longer than the first 32 were. This mama only has 8 weeks to go. The anticipation is building, that transition from holding your baby close to your heart and then holding them in your hands. To come face to face with a piece of you and discover if she looks anything like how you pictured her. I have no doubts baby Layla will be just as gorgeous as her mama:)

Little tiny boy

This little guy is the cousin of this little girl, but he decided to come about three weeks early, so he was quite a bit smaller than she! He was SO good to me though and is SO loved by his parents. I always encourage clients to bring in personal things, so this pair brought in a canvas of themselves and their dog they’d had done earlier. Love it! I know you can barely see it, but that dog in just as happy as can be. It cracked me up!
